2026-2027 Rotary Year

Fellow Rotarians – We need your help in selecting our next District 6460 leader, our District Governor (DG) for the Rotary year 2026-27. This may seem like a long way off, but in Rotary time, it isn’t, so we are beginning our selection process now. And the first step in that process is to start accepting DG nominations.

Serving as our district’s governor is a wonderful opportunity to help guide our district in helping all our clubs in their mission to serve their communities and the world. You will get to meet Rotarians in our 48 Rotary clubs and 4 Rotaract clubs and help them with new ideas and new approaches to resolve some of their issues. And you will meet lots of great Rotarians outside of our district, at Zone and Rotary International levels.

Here are the relatively simple criteria you need to meet to serve as our District Governor:

• • You must be a Rotarian in good standing
  • You must be a past Rotary Club President
  • You must have been a Rotarian for at least seven years before your term begins in July 2026 (meaning you must have joined Rotary before July 1, 2019)

Nominations will be open until November 15th, but you don’t need to wait until then to contact us. We have also included here links to the required nomination forms and all the fine print details from the Rotary International Bylaws for serving as DG.
